Our clinic is delighted to announce two outstanding achievements:
At this year's European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) Congress in Maastricht, the largest and most important international congress for specialists in internal medicine, two of our colleagues were each awarded first prize for the best presentation.
Dr. Hannah Gareis received the Award for the 1st Best Oral Communication from the European Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ESVIM) for her presentation:
"Evaluation of the Acute-Phase Proteins Serum Amyloid A and Haptoglobin in Cats With Respiratory Disease."
Dr. Katharina Zwicklbauer was awarded first prize in the ISCAID stream (infectious diseases). She presented her work on the topic:
"Gene expression profiles of cats with feline infectious peritonitis before and during effective treatment."
The ECVIM Congress, which took place in Maastricht in September 2025, offered a total of 16 high-caliber presentations in the internal medicine stream this year and is considered one of the most important platforms for international scientific networking and professional exchange.
We warmly congratulate both colleagues on this outstanding achievement and are proud that their scientific work has been recognized at such a high level!
